SINGING DISHES (2017)

Singing Dishes is an interactive installation that procedurally generates a cheerful song while the user is washing dishes. It has been developed in collaboration with the artist Rita Eperjesi.

This installation uses computer vision to track the user's hands and the washed dishes. Depending on where the user moves the dishes and which objects he or she is washing it adjusts the generated song.

This installation is a collaboration between me and Rita. I was involved in the design and responsible for the programming of this piece. It has been developed during my stay at the School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe's CO-JUNE art and technology residence. This installation / performance was part of the exhibition "Make Some Noise" by the School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe
